Follow this guide for steps on adding a new location into your Vision system and establishing a connection with your Local Vision Server (LVS).
How to add a new location
The process of adding a new location to your LVS is straightforward. Here are the steps you need to follow (see Figure 1):
Step 1: Open Control Panel
The Control Panel is located in the bottom right corner of the starting interface. This is where you'll manage all your locations and settings.
Step 2: Access the Locations tab
In the Control Panel menu, click on the Locations tab. This will bring up a list of all your current locations.
Step 3: Add a new Location
To add a new location, click the "+" sign located in the bottom right corner.

Once you click the "+", the Add Location window will open. Enter the required information and click Save. When a location is added, a unique location ID is assigned automatically (see Figure 2):

Connection Code
After creating a new location in the Control Panel, search for the created location in the Locations tab (Control Panel → Locations).
Find the "Connection Code" and insert it at the end of the installation process.

IMPORTANT: Connection code expires after two hours due to safety measures. If that’s the case, go back to the location you previously created and generate a new code.
Worker Service
To check the status of your worker services, begin by opening the Vision graphic user interface. From there, navigate to the Control Panel menu. Within the Control Panel, select the Locations tab and double-click on the location you've recently added. This will lead you to the 'Workers' section.

Worker is a service that finds and processes camera streams. To proceed with installation and adding cameras, ensure that the worker service is marked with a green dot next to it.
The number of preview workers you can have is determined by your server specifications. Essentially, the more workers you have, the more cameras you can process per location (see Figure 4).
