The system is not compatible with DVR. Digital Video Recorder processes explicitly analog signals from cameras as part of HD SDI, PoC, and analog systems. DVR is connected over coaxial cables to analog cameras with the purpose of converting the analog signal into digital at the recorder (not at the camera) and providing a monitoring service.
The main reason why DVR is not Vision-compatible is that visualization of AI services cannot be embedded into the camera streams without knowing the camera's IP or MAC addresses.
Camera control services, the camera network recognition process inside a Vision, is also not applicable since these analog systems do not have a deep network interface. Meaning, Vision installation would also represent a problem concerning simplicity and general installation optimization.
Also, resolution on analog cameras is usually not satisfactory for the proper implementation.
